by | May 6, 2016 | BIA, Blog, SMBs

Wrapping up National Small Business Week, the Local Search Association (LSA) published a great infographic that compiles research on the state of small business marketing. LSA’s infographic reports 71 percent of SMBs manage their digital marketing internally and they use 7.8 marketing channels.  Our Local Commerce Monitor™ survey of small business found similar results. LCM found that 58.2 % of small business prefer the do it yourself model when it comes to digital advertising. On the number of channels SMBs use to advertise and market, our survey shows SMBs use 6.7 channels and certain segments like franchises use on average 12 channels.
