  JOSH MCCARTER, CEO, Booker

  As CEO of Booker, Josh McCarter sets the strategy and oversees the finance, go-to-market, customer experience, and corporate development aspects of the company. Josh has led Booker’s explosive year-over year growth since its inception in 2007 and helped the company raise about $48M in capitol.

  Prior to Booker, Josh was President and COO of Arbitech, a leading independent distributor of computer hardware, which achieved $1B of sales under his leadership. Arbitech was recognized as Entrepreneur magazine’s fastest growing company in the US (2003), in addition to being rated in the Orange County Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work in the OC.” Josh previously served as Chief Operating Officer of SpaFinder, managing the company’s technology, operations, and strategic initiatives.

  Josh earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science-International Relations as a Cum Laude Graduate at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and his MBA at the University of Southern California (USC). Josh serves on the board of the Orange County chapter of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
