JonPaul Rexing

Sr. Director of Sales, ESPN Local

JonPaul Rexing is a 10-year veteran of the local media industry and is currently the Senior Director of Sales for ESPN Local. In this role JonPaul sets the local digital sales strategy for ESPN and leads the digital sales effort for many local and national sales teams. He was a part of the launch of ESPN’s five successful local sites (ESPNNewYork.com, ESPNBoston.com, ESPNChicago.com, ESPNDallas.com, and ESPNLA.com) in 2009-2010 and has been critical in developing the aggressive growth strategy for the business. JonPaul is in his ninth year with ESPN and has extensive experience in digital, mobile, audio, event and play-by-play sales strategy and management.

Prior to joining ESPN, JonPaul spent time with Infinity Broadcasting in Chicago as an Account Executive. He also spent two years working in Sports Management at the University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics. JonPaul earned a B.A. in Management from Purdue University, as well as an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Illinois.
