BIA/Kelsey is excited to recognize the cream among this year’s crop of LEADING IN LOCAL Future Stars, with our LOCAL Liftoff Awards.
LOCAL Liftoff is the preeminent award for local digital media and SMB digital marketing startups, as determined by industry peers. All qualified LEADING IN LOCAL Future Stars are automatically entered into the LOCAL Liftoff Awards competition.
RULES OF ENTRY
ELIGIBILITY RULES:
The LOCAL Liftoff Awards competition is open to all qualified LEADING IN LOCAL Future Stars that register to attend BIA/Kelsey’s LEADING IN LOCAL: SMB Digital Marketing conference.
DEADLINE FOR ENTRY: August 30, 2013
Qualified LEADING IN LOCAL Future Stars must be registered to attend BIA/Kelsey’s LEADING IN LOCAL: SMB Digital Marketing conference by 5 pm ET on August 30, 2013.
HOW TO ENTER:
All applications for Future Stars status must be submitted through our online application. You will be notified within 48 hours if you have been selected as a Future Star. Once selected as a Future Star and registered for the conference, you are automatically entered in the LOCAL Liftoff Awards competition.
HOW IS THE WINNER DETERMINED?
The winner will be determined by a combination of conference attendee votes and a panel of expert judges.
On Day 1 of LEADING IN LOCAL, attendees will have the opportunity to meet Future Stars in person in the Future Stars Alley. Attendees will be encouraged to vote for the startup they believe embodies the mission of the Future Stars program, which identifies companies with the greatest potential to break through with a truly innovative and viable solution that advances interactive local media and SMB digital marketing. Attendee votes will be tabulated to determine three LOCAL Liftoff Awards finalists.
On Day 2, the three finalists will make their pitch to our panel of expert judges and the LEADING IN LOCAL audience.
On Day 3, following a second round of voting, one Gold Star Winner, one Silver Star Finalist and one Bronze Star Finalist, will be selected and announced on stage at LEADING IN LOCAL.
