  Mike Orren is the president of Speakeasy – a content marketing, social media and digital strategy agency that is a joint venture between Slingshot and The Dallas Morning News. He was the founder of Pegasus News and has served in senior leadership roles at American Lawyer Media and D Magazine. As a consultant, he has helped Examiner, CBS Local and numerous newspaper and TV companies. His first book, on Texas' Prison Entrepreneurship Program, will be released in 2014.
