JOHN MCINTYRE, CEO, Sightly
John has more than 16 years of senior management experience in digital media, Internet marketing and telecommunications. Prior to founding Sightly (formerly known as PixelFish), John was CEO of Vmatrix where he led the turn around and rapid growth of a new media company focused on Internet video production targeted at businesses of all sizes.
Previously, John was Co-Founder and CEO of Affinity Internet, one of the largest online marketing and web hosting companies in the U.S, serving more than 200,000 local businesses. He grew the business from start-up to more than $35M in annual revenue in three years, attracting $60M in investments. Affinity was sold to Hostway in 2007.
Prior to Affinity, John led marketing and product development for Interliant, Inc., an online applications hosting provider, which he helped grow from start-up to IPO in 12 months. He also worked as a management consultant for PRTM focusing on designing and implementing product development processes in the telecommunications industry. John holds an MBA from Harvard University and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University. He has been a featured speaker at Internet and entrepreneurship conferences and trade shows.
