SHERI JENKINSON, Professional Coach and Change Agent, Ipseity Consulting

Throughout her career in the technology industry, Sheri has been viewed as a change agent with an entrepreneurial spirit. She believes that “attitude is everything” and that there is always a way forward.

Sheri has worked for large and small companies, including Verizon, Capgemini, VeriSign, MarketSphere, and River Logic, Sheri has played key roles in developing innovative technologies, creating profitable business strategies and building key relationships with C-level partners and customers. The networks and applications that she has worked with have changed our everyday lives as consumers, including digital telephony, mobile applications & payments, and interactive TV.

In 2010 her eyes were opened to the need for gender diversity in leadership. She co-founded Soluna Institute, a non-profit “think tank” designed to promote balance in leadership – not women versus men – men and women bringing their talents and strengths together to create “two-parent” companies. Left brains and right brains unite – because we all need a whole brain ;-)..

As much as she loves new technology, Sheri decided that her passion is people. She formed Ipseity Coaching & Consulting in 2012 as a means to help companies create more collaborative cultures that embrace IT as a strategic part of the business. Ipseity's goal is to help individuals and organizations jointly manage the change that is required for progress.

In 2013, she took on an additional entrepreneurial project as Chief Collaboration Engineer for B12 Consulting, which combines her interest in 1) putting people first as a recruiter,; 2) creating innovative solutions; and 3) educating others on new big data technology & leadership. B12 is a continuation of her plan to help make IT more strategic to the business.

B12 is a woman-owned minority business, which advocates hiring and promoting more women in technology and partners with WATT, Sheri’s coaching/training/mentoring group for Women Advancing Technology Together.

As a motivational speaker, Sheri speaks to corporate and professional organizations to inspire them to take personal responsibility for their careers, to have courage to face challenges, to celebrate their successes and to 'pay it forward' by mentoring others.

Sheri volunteers with the Family Place and the Dallas Women’s Foundation and continues to help women rediscover their strength and their voice.

Sheri earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Logistics, with a Minor in Business Law from Penn State University and an MBA in International Marketing from the University of Dallas. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
