David CortsDavid Corts, President and Chief Operating Officer, StudioNow

David has led product development, business development, and operations for StudioNow since its inception in 2007. StudioNow was acquired by Aol, Inc. in January 2010, at which time David also served as Vice President of Product and Operations for AOL Content Solutions. When StudioNow again became a privately-held company in January 2013, David resumed his role as President and Chief Operating Officer of StudioNow.

Prior to StudioNow, David was Founder and CEO of Impulse Radio, a venture-backed company in New York City providing technology to enable wireless content and data services through HD Radio and satellite digital radio. At Impulse Radio, David raised venture capital and established strategic partnerships with radio broadcasters and consumer electronics manufacturers, including Kenwood, Visteon, Clear Channel and NPR. David also helped lead the data standards setting process for HD Radio with the National Radio Systems Committee in Washington D.C.

Before founding Impulse Radio, David was a member of the founding team of @Plan, an Internet advertising and market research company. While at @Plan, David was responsible for overall data aggregation and integration into all of the company’s market research products. @Plan completed its IPO in May 1999 and was acquired by Doubleclick in February 2001.

David holds a B.A in English from of the University of Tennessee. He completed additional coursework at the University of Amsterdam.
