CHANTILLY, VA. July 21, 2010 -
BIA/Kelsey today announced the initial speaker lineup
for Directional Media Strategies 2010 (DMS ’10: Yellow Pages and Beyond) (www.kelseygroup.com/DMS2010),
its 31st conference covering the future of the local search and Yellow Pages
industry. DMS ’10 takes place Sept. 14-16 in Dallas.
The agenda features more than 50 senior executives from across the global
industry, including eight influential headliners: Bruce Cotterill, chief
executive officer, Yellow Pages Group (New Zealand); Perry Evans, founder
and CEO, Closely; Howard Lerman, chairman, cofounder and CEO, Yext; Lem
Lloyd, vice president, Yahoo Channel Sales; Stéphane Marceau, chief
marketing officer, Yellow Pages Group (Canada); Tim O’Shaughnessy, CEO and
cofounder, LivingSocial; Scott Pomeroy, president and CEO, Local Insight
Media; and Ken Ray, vice president and CMO, AT&T Advertising Solutions.
“Today’s Yellow Pages industry will bear
little resemblance to the industry of five years down the road,” said DMS
’10 Conference Chairman Charles Laughlin, senior vice president, program
director, The Kelsey Report® and managing editor, BIA/Kelsey. “We see this
traditional media business transitioning to something that places the SMB’s
Web site or landing page at the center of a ring of performance-centric
media, spanning offline and online formats. DMS ’10 will bring together the
most influential companies and executives in the global directional media
business to share their views on the strategies and tactics that are shaping
the future of this industry.”
For the second consecutive year,
BIA/Kelsey is partnering with the Yellow Pages Association, bringing DMS ’10
to the widest and most diverse audience of senior executives from across the
global directional media and local search industry.
Sessions will drill deeply into the drivers of the Yellow Pages business in
the future, with a focus on the building blocks of a diversified operation —
mobile Yellow Pages, social media and engagement strategies, SMB marketing
solutions, leads-based selling, reputation management platforms and more.
Conference sponsors include 3L System
Group, Acxiom, AgendiZe, Amdocs, AT&T Interactive, Cellcity, Kenshoo Local,
Local.com, Localeze, MerchEngines, Telmetrics, Shooger, Universal Business
