NAB Fall Radio Show

HD Radio Electronic Program Guide Session
Friday, September 19

Rick Ducey, Chief Strategy Officer at BIA Financial Network, will moderate this session that will provide an update on the NAB FASTROAD technology advocacy program for the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) project. This effort is producing an interactive on-screen guide for scheduled broadcast programming and will be suited to the HD Radio market for local broadcasters.

Working with Broadcast Signal Lab (BSL), BIAfn is developing the business requirements, system architecture and specifications for the electronic catalog. Assisting the team is Unique Interactive which have developed a similar EPG service for the Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB) market in the UK and elsewhere. This project continues iBiquity’s commercialization of the EPG service they have developed for HD Radio broadcasters.
