LMA/Duopoly (Non Arbitron Market)
The LMA study
retrieves and prints all geographically "close" stations and
determines 1 of 3 cases of each:
1.) The station in question is included
in the LMA market due to its transmitter site being encompassed by
one of the proposed LMA station's contours.
2.) The station in question is
included in the LMA market due to overlap of its city grade contour
(70 dBu for FM or 5 mV/m for AM) with one of the proposed LMA
station's city grade contour.
3.) The station in question is not included in the LMA market due to
a transmitter site over 92km from the perimeter of the mutual
overlap area and is designated in the report with an *.

This report lists all stations tested and
all stations meeting each of the cases described above.
Owned market facilities are grouped in
two categories:
1.) Primary Stations, those with a
mutual overlap with the facility being aquired.
2.) And jointly owned but not a part of the mutual overlap area.
As an option, an LMA/Duopoly map can be
ordered at the same time the study is run and delivered by Dataworld
staff in pdf format for filing at the FCC.
