Suzanne M. Ackley is a Senior Research Analyst with BIA.
As Senior Research Analyst, Ms. Ackley has been responsible for researching and preparing market studies, industry overviews, and national economic overviews. Ms. Ackley is responsible for researching and creating the maps, graphics and charts used in BIAfns fair market valuations. She has assisted in the appraisal of tangible and intangible assets of radio and television properties. Ms. Ackley has also assisted in the preparation and production of valuation studies for communication and media properties, FCC license swaps, operational audits, due diligence, financial reviews, evaluations of technical facilities, and feasibility studies for start-up radio and television stations. Ms. Ackley has assisted in the research, editing and production of BIA's annual State of the Industry reports for the radio and television industries.
Ms. Ackley earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Writing from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She also received a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Secondary English from George Mason University. She conducted her student teaching at Wakefield Secondary School in Arlington, Virginia, where she taught classes in advanced 10th grade English and Transitional English as a Second Language (ESL). She has completed graduate level courses in research and editing techniques. In May 2004, Ms. Ackley received an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Business Management with a Specialization in Finance from the Northern Virginia Community College in Manassas, Virginia. The A.A.S. degree was conferred Magna Cum Laude. |
