David Mihm

David Mihm is one of the world’s leading practitioners of Local search engine marketing. He has created and promoted search-friendly websites for clients of all sizes since the early 2000’s.

David writes frequently about Local Search at his own blog, Mihmorandum, and formerly wrote a column on Local Search at Search Engine Land. His annual Local Search Ranking Factors project is among the most important studies of Local SEO.

David has been invited to present on Local search marketing by every major search marketing conference, including multiple SMX and SES events, the BIA/Kelsey Group ILM Series, and SEOmozCON.

He previously served on the Board of Directors of SEMpdx, Portland's search marketing trade organization, as Director of Partnerships from 2008 – 2010 and SearchFest Director in 2011.

In addition to managing his private consulting business, David is the co-founder of GetListed.org. He is a 2003 graduate of Williams College.
