‘Going Social’ Again — Google+ ‘Best Of’ Industry Analysis and Insights

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Summary: Since the recent “field test” launch of Google+, we have been both exploring the new social networking service and trying to keep up with the nonstop prognostication and punditry it has spawned. Google’s strategy was to open up the service to a limited set of power users who would help it work out the kinks before letting in the great unwashed masses. In addition to offering our own first impressions, we thought it would be of interest to aggregate and synthesize some of the more compelling industry takes on Google+ for our Social Local Media clients. Among them: potential killer features, competitive threats and possible business implications.
